Melbourne Water has developed a unique educational discovery centre in Edithvale, designed by Minifie van Schaik Architects. This center teaches visitors of all ages the complex history and workings of this urban wetland and also it's role in the water-cycle in particular. The interior contains an interactive gallery providing views of the vast wetlands through panoramic windows.
Our design team created a information graphics system that is fun, interactive and educational for visitors of all ages. We used a strong palette of colours and playful iconography to enhance the learning experience. The educational panels where constructed on Tasmainian Oak Crown Cut and printed using UV inks which gave a tactile and hands on elements to the Exhibition.
