LAB Group develops online account applications and electronic identity verification products, focusing on the financial services industry. Our brief was to create a contemporary identity and language that would showcase the brand values of professionalism, efficiency and trust. As with every project, our research and understanding of the company uncovered the simplest form of their business: a three-step process.
With this in mind, simplicity was key. We created a triangle identity that reflects a sense of balance between both the typography and graphical elements. The refined detail reinforces the three aspects of LAB Group – acquisition, verification and management. We combined this modest design with a bold yellow and grey colour tone, creating a concept that is both striking and adaptable.
