Brother Thomas is a contemporary café specialising in rich, flavoursome espresso made using traditional Italian roasting techniques. When they moved to their new location on Williams Street, they asked us to collaborate with Mills Gorman Architects to reinvigorate their existing brand and create an understated visual style that would work with the new interior.
We enhanced the typeface to have an elegant, crafted feel that would resonate with the café’s clientele. For the owner, the customer and coffee are the heart and soul of the café. We decided to focus on the coffee cup as an icon and use it throughout the collateral, including signage, aprons and business cards.
