Mietta By Rosemary Andrews

Translating loosely to ‘sweet little thing’, Mietta by Rosemary is the culmination of global patisserie experience and has now arrived on Malvern’s doorstep. Serving cakes by the slice and accommodating queues around the block, Andrews baked goods prove unforgettable, after rising to fame during one of the few bright spots in the pandemic, Attica’s Summer Camp.

The brand carries many sentimental influences, namely the flower mark, featured across packaging, signage and digital assets.  Designed to tell a story, the Tasmanian Leatherwood flower pays homage to Rosemary’s Tasmanian upbringing, the place she first discovered a passion and aptitude for baking, right in grandma’s kitchen! Swirled around the logo is a message from Rosemary, a poetic channel connecting the customer with ‘moments of sweet joy’ from her ‘luscious cakes’…’love Mietta’.

Laced in gold, the brand translates the premium elements of Mietta by Rosemary including Valrhona chocolate imported from France and cheesecake featuring the world’s best vanilla bean, if ingredients were solid gold they would be these. The elegant space strengthens the brand story,  inspired by Parisian patisseries, with touches of marble throughout and a wall featuring porcelain flowers made in France.

Here’s what the press had to say:
Urban List – ‘Mietta By Rosemary will be a minimal and monochrome store, with the spotlight on an art-gallery-like cake display.’
Broadsheet – “Andrews describes her sweets brand as “classic bakes with a little contemporary finesse”,
Herald Sun –Andrews is a rising star in the city’s pastry circles, loved by many “
