Berlina Projects is a family-run residential building company that has sustained 28 years of success by delivering cutting-edge properties across the Sydney metropolitan area. More recently they have entered medium density and commercial divisions, which encompasses a philosophy of project management centered on delivering projects of the upmost quality on time, and within budgeted projections.

With a series of award-winning builds under their belt, Berlina was eager to enter a new phase of growth with a refreshed brand strategy. Our vision was to create an identifiable mark and versatile language that could support mandated design applications including project signage, uniform and professional documentation.

From sub-contractors to design-savvy architects, the Berlina brand engages with a wide collection of professionals at varying stages of the project lifecycle. This finding was extracted during our collaborative brand workshop and set the precedent for balance in tone and clarity. We landed on a grey-scale colour palette that envelops a three-dimensional ‘B’ intentionally manipulated to mimic the vertical and horizontal elements of wall framing. The design outcome strips back building to its simplest form and speaks authentically to Berlina’s core brand values of eye for detail, reliability, humility, relatability, and determination.

Sincere interest in design, each Berlina project is produced with skilled craftsmanship and respect for architectural intent. It was our due diligence to follow suit and carefully articulate what it means to be dynamic in such a definitive industry. The Berlina brand has been designed to seamlessly integrate into both residential and commercial settings and become familiar with time and use.
