The National Institute of Circus Arts provides a range of performing art qualifications. Beautifully Imperfect was a third year students performance as directed by Rob Tannion. The performance was a combination of theatre and circus arts, exploring an extensive and thoughtful journey through vulnerability, physicality, strength and alienation.
The performance was both dark and mysterious in nature. The typography conveyed the notion of beauty whilst the art-directed photography captured the intricate and honest imperfections of the performer through a collection of various emotive facial expressions and poses.
