With an emphasis on Property, Commercial & Litigation (PCL), PCL Lawyers has been affording businesses, individuals and families across Australia trustworthy legal expertise for over a decade.
The firm’s multi-faceted, flexible approach to legal assistance is visible in the service they provide both legally, and personally to clients. This balanced, people-driven narrative is what sets PCL apart in the corporate world which ignited a design direction that speaks to their distinct set of brand values – reliable, accessible, high quality, and steadfast.
Forging a solid reputation with 10 years of recognised work, PCL Lawyers has procured considerable brand equity in its life span. This was repeatedly noted in their original brand strategy workshop and became a focal point during the identity conceptualisation phase. With this knowledge, we set out to elevate PCL Lawyer’s visual language and communicate them as a united front to support their expansion into New South Wales & Queensland. Each point in the irregular octagon indicates a separate legal service that is eventually connected by ‘the PCL Lawyers team’. This custom shape enwraps ‘PCL’ to create a distinctive logo mark that is branded across all touchpoints for a consistent and recognisable brand identity.
For the new visualisation of the PCL Lawyers brand, we selected a serif and a sans serif typeface to send a refreshed and bold brand message to stakeholders and clients. Our intention was to communicate adaptability through design, by marrying two typefaces that work together but also have their own unique personalities – a theme typically present in the dynamics of family law.
The evolved PCL Lawyers brand and website are approachable, pertinent to the industry, and modern — reflecting a firm that is genuine and responsive to all client needs.
