Victorian Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Service

We had the privilege of reimagining the brand identity for Victorian Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Service, formerly “ONTrac at Peter Mac,” to reflect their unwavering commitment to supporting young Victorians aged 15 to 25 as they navigate the challenges of cancer.

We designed a logo that symbolises growth, hope, and the personalised care their team provides, supporting patients from diagnosis through to post-treatment with not just medical care but also emotional, practical, and financial support. Victorian AYA Cancer Service is dedicated to fostering well-being, independence, and compassion, offering a vital source of strength to young people and their families.

The Victorian AYA Cancer Service colour palette was thoughtfully crafted to reflect the brand’s core values of youthfulness, support, and inspiration. Calming blues represent trust and care, while vibrant shades like tangerine, lime, and pink express warmth and energy. This palette strikes a balance between being uplifting and professional, reinforcing Victorian AYA Cancer Service’s mission to provide compassionate, credible care.

Bright, optimistic visuals highlight the brand’s focus on youthfulness and inspiration, while the “A” monogram adds a unique and recognisable touch across both digital and physical platforms, ensuring consistency in brand identity.

It has been an honour to work with the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and we have immense respect for their continued dedication to helping young people and their families through difficult times. We’re proud to support healthcare organisations like Victorian AYA Cancer Service, demonstrating how thoughtful design can convey hope and support to individuals and families during their most challenging moments.

Client testimonial

“We engaged Principle Design for our service’s brand renewal. We had changed the name of our service and were looking for a new logo, and refreshed branding.

Principle Design was fantastic to work with. They facilitated sessions with us and our stakeholders to truly understand our service, our position in the industry and how we wanted to represent ourselves.

They were efficient in the design process, very open to feedback and flexible when it came to making changes.

Our new branding has been very well received both internally and externally and has positioned us well to increase our brand awareness. We are very pleased with our decision to engage Principle Design for this project.”
