Melbourne Design Awards 2024

We’re honoured to add Madeleine de Proust to our accolades, winning GOLD at the 2024 Melbourne Design Awards for Graphic Design, Identity, and Branding.

Our journey began with Michelin-starred chefs Hyoju Park and Rong Yao Soh, who envisioned a bakery inspired by their passion for Madeleines. Madeleine de Proust was born through strategic workshops, capturing the essence of childhood nostalgia.

The branded space blends 70s-style Australian milk bars and classic French patisseries, featuring an old-school strip door and Parisian-style tiles. The brand identity highlights the distinctive shape of a madeleine, creating a sophisticated yet nostalgic aesthetic. Madeleine de Proust has since gained prominence in the Melbourne food scene, with 14.3k followers and attention from Broadsheet, Time Out, and Good Food.

Rombe earned SILVER for Graphic Design, Identity, and Branding.

Our task was to craft a brand identity for Rombe’s new restaurant, café, and wedding venue. Rombe, derived from the French word for ‘fall,’ reflects the charm of falling in love. The design features modern elegance with Art Deco influences and a romantic color palette inspired by sunrise and sunset. From packaging to signage, the brand identity enhances every customer touchpoint.

We also designed a user-friendly website and engaging social media content, boosting Rombe’s visibility and community engagement. Since launching in March 2024, Rombe has hosted multiple successful events and weddings, continuing to shine in Melbourne.

What a pleasure it was to be a part of both incredible successes.
