One of Melbourne’s most celebrated architecture practices, McBride Charles Ryan (MCR) required a publication that showcased their key projects to potential clientele in a way that was exciting and engaging.
To achieve this, a cinematic approach to image treatment was used to create energetic page layouts. Use of white space and dramatic black backgrounds helped to punctuate imagery whilst also creating a sense of harmony throughout the publication.
Special finishes were also used throughout the publication with a spot varnish on the cover creating a contrasting, tactile feel and a purple singer sewn bind acting as a running thread throughout – adding a sense of continuity.
