From modest beginnings as a technical school in Collingwood in the early 1910s, NMIT have grown to become the largest provider of vocational and technical education in Melbourne’s north.
The in-house design team approached us to assist with their initial stages of a complete re-brand. Our primary challenge was to create a compelling and evocative design that incorporates the history of the company, conveying a century of brand building recognition. Acting as a visual and language consultant, we crafted a progressive and prominent design to reflect the brands reinvigorated learning disposition.
We communicated their modernised approach to creative education through several visual mediums including environmental signage on trams and billboards as well as visual graphics for newspaper and brochure campaigns.
We worked on the styleguide of Melbourne Polytechnic.
