Hansen Yuncken is one of Australia’s most respected construction companies, with a legacy spanning over a century. The Shepparton milestone marks 100 years of contribution to regional Victoria, delivered through projects grounded in integrity, innovation and community impact.

The project centred on designing a commemorative booklet that honours this legacy while presenting the story in a considered, contemporary way.

Working within Hansen Yuncken’s established brand framework, the booklet design balances heritage and clarity. Layout, typography and pacing were carefully resolved to support long-form storytelling, allowing historical milestones, imagery and narrative to sit comfortably alongside the company’s present-day identity.

The design approach focused on hierarchy and rhythm, ensuring the publication feels purposeful and accessible while retaining the gravitas expected of a centenary piece.

Materiality, pagination and binding considerations were explored to support a refined, enduring printed outcome. The result is a thoughtfully crafted editorial piece that reflects Hansen Yuncken’s history in Shepparton and serves as a lasting record of a significant milestone.
